In the Aftermath of Oct.7th Israel Must Lead

Nearly 22 months have passed since the October 7 massacre—the deadliest attack on Jews since the Holocaust. Over 1,200 civilians and soldiers were murdered. Entire families were incinerated. Babies were decapitated. Women were gang-raped—some beside the bodies of their children. Holocaust survivors were dragged bleeding into captivity. Soldiers were executed in their sleep.

More than 250 civilians and soldiers were abducted into Gaza. Fifty hostages remain. Children. Parents. Elderly. Holocaust survivors. Forgotten by the world.

Held underground in Hamas tunnels, they are denied sunlight, medicine, and increasingly, food. Many are now being left to starve in darkness, while Hamas leaders dine on stolen humanitarian aid. There is food in Gaza—Hamas has it. The hostages do not.

And yet, international pressure focuses on Israeli restraint rather than the survival of these innocent hostages.

🎗️ 22 MONTHS. 50 HOSTAGES. GLOBAL SILENCE.

Where is the outrage? Where is the Red Cross? Where are the international journalists?

If these hostages were European, UN planes would be landing daily. But they are Jewish. So they are ignored.

Their families live in torment. The world scrolls on. We must not.

🏛️ THE UN PREPARES TO RECOGNIZE A PALESTINIAN STATE—WHILE HOSTAGES REMAIN IN GAZA

Next month, at the UN General Assembly, global leaders are preparing to formally recognize a Palestinian state.

Not to demand the release of hostages.

Not to sanction Hamas.

Not to investigate the October 7 massacre.

But to reward terror.

How can statehood be granted while victims of mass murder still rot in tunnels?

What message does this send other than: “Massacre Jews, get borders”?

This is not a peace plan. It is appeasement. It is the political legitimization of barbarism.

💥 THIS IS A REGIONAL WAR—NOT JUST GAZA

This war didn’t begin in Gaza—and it won’t end there. Israel is battling a coordinated, Iran-backed, eight-front assault:

1. Gaza – Hamas fights like a militia and continues to regroup.

2. Judea and Samaria – Iran and Hamas incite armed cells to destabilize from within.

3. Lebanon – Hezbollah has paused mass rocket fire, but Israel continues striking operatives daily.

4. Syria – Iranian militias are embedded and preparing for future escalation.

5. Yemen – The Houthis launch long-range missiles, including a direct strike on Ben Gurion Airport.

6. Cyberwarfare – Iranian proxies target Israel’s healthcare, civil, and military systems.

7. Information warfare – Hamas dominates global media. Israel lags behind.

8. Iran itself – A 12-day war saw Iran firing missiles—including nuclear-capable ones—from its own soil. The war ended, but the nuclear threat remains. The region sits on a powder keg.

This is not a border dispute. This is a fight for survival. And by extension, a defense of the West’s values.

Distorted UK, France and Canada

To the UK, France, and Canada: Go Shove It

You sanctimonious, hypocritical cowards. How dare you threaten the one Jewish state on earth—after everything your nations did to us. You dare speak of “humanitarian values” while standing on piles of Jewish bones your ancestors buried beneath cobblestones, cathedrals, and charters of “civilized” nations.

Britain

Oh, Britain. The empire that carved up the Middle East with a pencil and a gin-and-tonic. You issued the Balfour Declaration and then slammed the door on Jewish refugees fleeing the Nazis. You handed chunks of Jewish land to Arab monarchs and let Jews die in the Holocaust rather than let them enter your precious Mandate. You interned Holocaust survivors in Cyprus like they were criminals. And now you’re wagging your colonial finger at Jews for building homes on our ancestral hills?

Go shove your royal hypocrisy back into Buckingham Palace and deal with your own collapsing society—where knife crime, antisemitism, and Islamic extremism are more common than fish and chips.

France

Liberté, égalité, fraternité—unless you’re a Jew. You deported over 75,000 Jews to their deaths during the Holocaust with the full cooperation of the French Vichy regime. You let them be shoved into cattle cars from the Vel d’Hiv while Parisians watched. And after the war? No justice. No reckoning. Just decades of indifference and empty words. Today, Jews are being stabbed in the streets of France, synagogues are under military guard, and you still have the audacity to lecture us about morality?

You couldn’t defend your own republic from a gang of jihadists in a van, but now you want to dictate how Israel defends itself from genocidal terrorists hiding behind human shields? You are morally bankrupt and culturally collapsing. Go lecture someone else while your republic burns.

Canada

Oh Canada—America’s cold, smug, spineless cousin. Your “moral high ground” is a snow-covered hill of lies. You locked Jewish refugees out during the Holocaust. The ship St. Louis begged for your mercy. You sent them back—to die. “None is too many,” your officials said. That’s your legacy. Your history. And today, your politicians pose for photo ops in mosques that glorify martyrs while denouncing Israel for fighting genocidal killers.

You’ve turned your universities into Hamas fan clubs and your Parliament into a circus of virtue signaling. You host terrorists in suits and call it diplomacy. You abandoned the Jews when we were stateless, and now you want to punish us for defending our state?

Here’s Our Response

We’re not the broken, stateless Jews of 1942. We’re the sovereign people of Israel—armed, aware, and unapologetic. Your sanctions are a joke. Your threats are meaningless. Your moral lectures are garbage. We don’t need your permission to live. We don’t need your validation to fight.

You allowed Jewish blood to soak your soil for centuries. Now that Jews fight back, build, thrive—you clutch your pearls?

Israel doesn’t need your empty Western democracy. We have something older, holier, and stronger: truth, covenant, survival.

Go shove your resolutions where the sun doesn’t shine.

We’re not going anywhere.

And next time you dare threaten the Jewish state—

Remember who we are now.

  1. Not surprisingly, billions from the West have enabled the Iranian regime to help plan, finance and support, among other aggressions, the invasion of Israel and genocidal massacre of Jews perpetrated by Hamas on October 7. Western money gifted to Iran is also helping the regime advance its nuclear weapons program to near-completion by "a few weeks or less, after which they can make as many bombs as they like.
  2. The more money the Iranian regime is handed, the more trouble it causes.
  3. Compared to the tens of billion the US delivers to Iran, the US government's annual $3.8 billion investment in Israel -- which invariably inspires extensive howling from some quarters -- is proportionately bus fare.
  4. It is high-time for the Biden administration to learn from previous administrations -- inconveniently for them, Republican -- that only economic and military pressure work on rogue and predatory regimes such as Iran. Appeasement, regrettably.... just ignites conflict.

The Biden administration's policy towards the expansionist regime of Iran has been anchored in appeasement policies, including handing over billions of dollars in a seeming effort to bribe Iran's mullahs not to cause even further trouble in the Middle East before the US presidential election on November 5, 2024.

From the Iranian regime's dispiriting record of cheating (such as here, here and here), no "deal" will stop them.

The more money the Iranian regime is handed, the more trouble it causes.

Infernal Barbarism and Moral Equivalence

Video - British PM Finally Calls HAMAS Terrorists https://tinyurl.com/mu5ssw6m

The Hamas pogrom is the result of the West's refusal to accept the idea of evil

For the full article by Melanie Philips go to https://tinyurl.com/mr47sfjt

Every aggressive cause is thought to be amenable to compromise

Israel’s heart has been broken. At war once again against genocidal enemies, its people are shattered by shock, grief and horror.

At time of writing, the number of those murdered has risen to 800, with 2,315 wounded and at least 100 being held hostage in Gaza.

The images of what happened will stay with us forever. Dozens of Israelis were gunned down in their homes and their cars.

Elderly people and small children were slaughtered; women were raped; bodies taken into Gaza were paraded and desecrated; mothers with children in their arms were abducted and are now being held as hostages in Gaza’s terror tunnels.

This was barbarism and depravity, not seen on such an infernal scale since the Holocaust.

Every one of these attacks on Israeli civilians was a war crime. It is a moral imperative to destroy the forces who committed them and who — as they tell us — are intent upon eradicating Israel and the Jewish people.

And yet the US State Department said after the pogrom: ‘We urged all sides to refrain from violence and retaliatory attacks. Terror and violence solve nothing.”

All sides? That means the US is telling Israel to “refrain” from defending its people. Should the Americans have refrained from waging war against Afghanistan to destroy the Taliban after 9/11 as a “retaliatory attack”?

Of course not. Such moral equivalence, it seems, applies only to Israel. It is also the default position of the western left.

This has been on display once again in the media coverage of these events. Newspapers have been reporting “horrific” casualty figures “on both sides”; the BBC and other outlets announced on Monday morning that the death toll was 1,100, similarly equating the Israeli victims of mass murder with those killed in the attempt to prevent any more such attacks.

Such bankrupt moral equivalence is “progressive” orthodoxy. Ostensibly aimed at equality for all values, it enables certain "approved" criminals to evade responsibility for their crimes by representing them as victims alongside those they have attacked. The inevitable consequence is that their victims are represented as attackers.

Thus a BBC headline read “Israel launches airstrikes on Gaza Strip… after Palestinian gunmen infiltrate its territory”, repeating the BBC’s habitual inversion of aggression and response. The extreme nature of the atrocity was instantly downgraded and its horror was blunted.

This is no accident. The instinct of the left is to deny Israeli victimhood. That’s because such victimhood gets in the way of the default “progressive” narrative that Israel is the aggressor and the Palestinians are their victims.

It also gives rise to the claim that Israel’s response is “disproportionate” if its forces kill “too many” Palestinians. But a proportionate response never involves a comparison of the numbers killed. It is rather a response that’s proportionate to the threat of further killing.

At the moment, the “disproportionate” voices are muted by the horror of what has happened. But if Israel hits Gaza very hard, we’ll soon be hearing once again the claims and blood libels of Israeli “war crimes”.

While the Labour party leadership is currently supporting Israel’s right to take the measures in Gaza necessary to defend itself, an event organised by the Corbynite Momentum faction just down the road from Labour’s party conference applauded the Hamas pogrom.

Although the Labour leader, Sir Keir Starmer, has purged Momentum from the party, he is currently refusing to suspend Labour MP Apsana Begum. According to a complaint by the Tory MP Greg Hands, she tweeted her "solidarity" with the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, which was planning a protest outside the Israeli embassy to demand Israel end its “violent imposition of occupation, apartheid and colonisation over the Palestinian people”.

Despite Starmer's efforts, anti-Zionist and anti-Jewish attitudes remain entrenched on the left, centred upon the Palestinian cause. Its apologists have responded to the Hamas atrocities by saying that Israel “had this coming” as a result of its “colonial” oppression of the Palestinians.

The ignorant and malicious lie of Israeli “oppression” and injustice is embedded in western “progressive” circles. Totally ignoring the Palestinians’ genocidal antisemitism, this narrative has sanitised, emboldened and incentivised Palestinian incitement against Israel and the Jewish people for decades.

Jews on the left, including those now wringing their hands over the massacre in Israel, are complicit in this malignant echo chamber.

They are part of a western culture that is no longer prepared to recognise evil. It seeks instead to ascribe it to motives like oppression.

It tells itself that every aggressive cause is amenable to compromise. It refuses to accept that sometimes there’s no alternative but to fight until the forces of evil are crushed by a military victory.

By refusing to accept this, such “progressives” sentence countless innocents to die. That is what has happened in Israel. That’s why yet more innocents there will be slaughtered, and yet more young Israeli conscripts are now being sent into the line of fire.

Israel will fight to destroy this evil because it has no choice. Many western progressives have chosen to support evil instead.

West Generously Sponsors Palestinian Terrorism

Video Of The Week - Iran on the Cusp of Producing Nukes? https://tinyurl.com/5brsbbjj

For decades, various  Palestinian organizations and so-called charities have benefited from the largesse of our Western governments and wealthy sponsors, all in the name of "peace and development."

For the full article from the JP, By Catherine Perez-Shakdam go to;  https://www.jpost.com/opinion/article-731273

Jerusalem saw its streets turn bloody once more in late January as Islamist militants targeted a synagogue. A litany of attacks, each more obscene and terrifying than the next, have since rocked the Jewish State. Keen to make an impression on both Israel and the Diaspora, terrorists elected International Holocaust Remembrance Day to make their move, marking what many have already labeled the Third Intifada.

The opening shot to a new campaign of violence and hate, the attack on Jerusalem’s synagogue was not a desperate cry by a beleaguered people to proclaim their national independence and freedom, but rather the affirmation that terror, while claiming its cause to be holy, cares little for the sanctity of life.

To play still to the notion that terrorism has a rationale when slammed up against the State of Israel is, in my mind, an act of genocide.

Radicals care little for the aspirations of the people they claim to want to liberate – in this case Palestinians. What they seek is the complete and total annihilation of a people, in that they believe such an act to be a divine command – the expression of a faith they have hijacked and twisted to their bigotry.

Palestine Ambassador to the UK Husam Zomlot’s refusal to condemn January’s terror attack, an attack carried out by a 15-year-old Palestinian boy and which claimed seven lives, speaks volumes. The mindset is decidedly one of unaccountability and deflection. To witness a Palestinian official, the head of the Palestinian mission to the UK no less, to so casually and unabashedly argue that blame lies with Israel, is a testament to how successful terror propagandists have been in dehumanizing Israelis and Jews alike.

Palestinians need not destroy Israel to exist, let alone assert their identity. As for peace – it will not be extracted through intimidation and murder. And to those who continue to clamor that Israel had it coming, that it was Israel’s actions that pushed Palestinians to be radicalized, I have little to say other than “I pity you.”

January’s attack against a synagogue in Jerusalem, the deadliest in recent years, raises some serious questions – well beyond the obvious matter of ideological indoctrination and national security.

While the motives for the attack are rather self-evident, little, if anything has been said on the economics of terror and in particular, the mechanics used by extremists to help them, not just to thrive, but also to build outposts – thus enabling their many legions to drown out the voices of those who reject radicalism’s tenets with their furious cries.

Terror does not exist in an ideological vacuum, it requires resources – perpetual war and oppression are demanding mistresses indeed. For decades, various Palestinian organizations and so-called charities have benefited from the largesses of our Western governments and wealthy sponsors, all in the name of peace and development of course. In reality, they are sponsoring hate and violence.

“Ludicrous,” you say? May I suggest you stick around, even if only for a little while.

I WILL keep things simple and use but one example: pay for slay.

Under the Palestinian Authority (PA) legislation, for decades, provisions have been made in the annual budget to disburse all Palestinians, (including Israeli Arabs) imprisoned in Israel for terror crimes, with generous salaries.

Let me repeat that: the PA is required under the law and government decrees to support, sponsor, and thus encourage terror – Law No. 14 (2004), Law No. 19 (2004), and Law No. 1 (2013). As for our Western capitals, well, they have kept mum, whitewashing Palestinian violence to the tune of millions of dollars per year. Why risk being labeled an enemy of freedom by holding radicals accountable, when one could argue for peace-brokering?

A paper published in the Jerusalem Center for Public Affairs by Brigadier-General (res.) Yossi Kuperwasser gives an incredibly detailed account of the problem. It reads: “The legislation defines ‘prisoners’ benefiting from this requirement, as ‘Anyone imprisoned in the occupation’s prisons as a result of his participation in the struggle against the occupation.’

The PA also pays by law monthly allocations to the families of Palestinians who lost their lives in the context of this struggle (referred to as “Martyrs”), including those who were involved in carrying out terror attacks.”

And, “this situation, in effect, constitutes a clear contravention of national and international norms and obligations. Moreover, the salaries are guaranteed in advance to the terrorists and their families, thus making the Palestinian Authority solicitors of terror activities and directly responsible for them.”

In 2016 the PA allocated $300 million of its annual budget to its pay-for-slay program.

Until such time as we ensure that financial access is denied, and short of that, at least restricted to a trickle through sanctions, then our outrage over terror means nothing.

But my concern is not so much Western apathy before the murder of innocent Israelis – notwithstanding how young boys and girls continue to be sold to hate so that the PA could have its fill of blood – but the fact that we are being held back by fear.

Because we fear the repercussions, whether political or social, we continue to cater to Islamists’ propaganda, God forbid we should be labeled complicit in Israel’s expansionist policies.

To fight terror is an imperative that exists beyond party lines. It requires moral courage and determination, two qualities that seem to elude too many state officials.

VP Kamala Harris "Your truth must be heard"

Video Of The Week- Kamala Harris and 'Ethnic Genocide' in Israel https://tinyurl.com/7dnctn7r

US Vice President Kamala Harris applauded a student who accused Israel of "ethnic genocide," saying "your truth cannot be suppressed."

For the full article go to JP 29-09-2021, By TZVI JOFFRE https://tinyurl.com/n37rzk6s

During a discussion with students about National Voter Registration Day on Tuesday, US Vice President Kamala Harris did not challenge a comment by a student at George Mason University in Virginia who accused Israel of “ethnic genocide” and defended her right to say it.

The student, who identified herself as part-Yemeni, part-Iranian and “not an American,” also expressed outrage at US funding of the Iron Dome.

She said America affects her life “every day” due to military funding it gives to Saudi Arabia and Israel.

“You brought up how the power of the people and demonstrations and organizing is very valuable in America,” she said. “But I see that over the summer there have been protests and demonstrations in astronomical numbers standing with Palestine. But then just a few days ago, there were funds allocated to continue backing Israel, which hurts my heart because it’s ethnic genocide and displacement of people, the same that happened in America, and I’m sure you’re aware of this.”

The student questioned why money was going to Israel and Saudi Arabia instead of to social issues in America.

“The people have spoken very often of what they do need, and I feel like there’s a lack of listening, and I just feel like I need to bring this up because it affects my life and people I really care about’s [sic] life,” she said.

In response, Harris said she was “glad” the student spoke up.

“Your voice, your perspective, your experience, your truth cannot be suppressed, and it must be heard,” she said.

Harris said democracy is strongest when everyone participates and is weakest when anyone is left out.

“That’s not only about being physically present but that your voice is present,” she said. “Our goal should be unity, but not uniformity. Unity should never be at the expense of telling any one person, ‘For the sake of unity, oh you be quiet about that thing.’ That’s not unity. Then we see where that ends up in a healthy debate about the issue.”

Regarding the student’s reference to Middle East policy, Harris said: “We still have healthy debates in our country about what is the right path, and nobody’s voice should be suppressed on that.”

Former US ambassador to Israel David Friedman expressed outrage at Harris’s statements, tweeting: “Shameful. There is truth and there are lies. No one is entitled to their personal truth. This attack on Israel is simply a lie and VPOTUS should have called that out.”

Vicious Bigoted Slur Against Israel

Video Of The Week - Black Lives Matter - https://tinyurl.com/yachzcfc

On Monday, an alliance of groups affiliated with the Black Lives Matter movement unveiled their first official platform. The 40,000-word manifesto contained many recommendations, including concrete policy proposals, for rectifying the wrongs perpetrated against America’s African-American citizens in the past and present.

Unfortunately, the platform also contained a vicious bigoted slur against the Jewish state, which the document’s foreign policy section accused of perpetrating “genocide” against Palestinians. (The platform also labeled Israel an “apartheid state” and joined with the BDS movement in calling for the total academic, cultural, and economic boycott of the country.

Falsely accusing the state founded by Jews in the ashes of their own genocide of committing genocide is, simply put, a blood libel on a national scale. It is a slur against the 6 million Jews in Israel and the vast majority of world Jewry that supports them. That Black Lives Matter would indulge in such ignorant and incendiary claims undermines its standing as an anti-racist organization.

Now, to be clear, given the platform’s 40,000-word length and numerous sections and subjects, it is extremely unlikely that most activists involved in its drafting had anything to do with the small portion pertaining to Israel. Doubtless most of the many thousands of Americans, including American Jews, who deeply sympathize with the aims of Black Lives Matter and similarly seek criminal justice reform, see no connection between this activism and assertions of Israeli genocide.

But it is sadly just as clear that those select activists who shoehorned such a slur into the Black Lives Matter platform, whether out of ignorance or malice, have needlessly driven a wedge into the very necessary alliance to ensure equal treatment of America’s African-American brothers and sisters.

Pro-Israel Nobel Peace Prize laureate

Video Of The Week - Yazidi Genocide - https://tinyurl.com/y73rasjt
Article from Arutz Sheva- https://tinyurl.com/yc2nyvxm

The Nobel Peace Prize has never been an institution considered friendly to Israel. Just think of the South African archbishop Desmond Tutu, Yasser Arafat, former American president Jimmy Carter, Finnish politician Martti Ahtisaari, to name only a few great opponents and critics of the Jewish State.

Now the Nobel has gone instead to a supporter and admirer of Israel, the former sex slave of ISIS, the Yazidi survivor Nadia Murad.

"The Jews and the Yazidis share a common history of genocide that has shaped the identity of our peoples," said Nadia a few months ago visiting Israel, where she was welcomed at the Knesset, at the University of Tel Aviv and at Yad Vashem, the national memorial for the Shoah. "The history of the Jewish people is a unique story, yet it echoes in the experiences of my own community. Like the Jews, the Yazidis have a thousand-year-old history. And despite the persecution, both our peoples have survived".

Nadia has been helped by the Israeli humanitarian organization IsraAID and the Israeli office of the International Development Society (Sid), which helps the Yazidis see what they have gone through in Iraq recognized as genocide.

It is thanks to Israeli NGO IsraAID, which Nadia called "more effective than many governments", that Nadia was able to tell her story to the Western public. It was through IsraAID's work with the Yazidi refugees in the now-evacuated Petra camp in Greece that director Yotam Polizer understood that Israel could play an important role in the Yazidi cause.

"Unlike the Syrian refugees, who saw our logo with the Star of David and were confused, the Yazidis welcomed us with a huge smile. They said that for them it was a natural connection” said Polizer.

The Yazidis believe that the 1941 anti-Jewish pogrom in Baghdad, the "Farhud", was the forerunner of what would happen in Iraq to religious minorities, such as Christians and Yazidis.

In Israel, Nadia has held meetings with the Knesset legislators and met with the heads of the Tel Aviv University together with Polizer, in an effort to bring Yazidi students to study in Israel. "I always wanted to come here to Israel, so many victims wanted to come and get help from the government and the people of Israel," Nadia said. And again:
"Before this genocide, I had little information about the Jewish community because we do not have many Jews in Iraq. Then I saw that Jewish communities support us. Like the Jews, the Yazidis showed resilience in the face of oppression.

"Maintaining one's identity is a force of resistance. We refuse to allow the oppressors to be stronger than us”.

This is also the story of Israel's 70 years of existence. And Zionism has been the most powerful resistance to the religious-ethnic cleansing political Islam has spread in the Middle East against its minorities.

Yazidi Survivor Expresses Admiration of Jews

Video of the week - Israelis Aiding Yazidi and Kurdish Refugees - http://tinyurl.com/y9fk48ad

“The Tower” July 26, 2017

Nadia Murad, a Yazidi survivor of Islamic State captivity and UN [United Nations] goodwill ambassador, visited the Israeli Knesset on Monday to raise awareness for the plight of her people and explain how it relates to Jewish suffering during the Holocaust.
“My visit here today is to ask you to recognize the genocide being committed against my people, in light of our peoples’ common history of genocide,” Murad told a gathering at the Israeli parliament, The Times of Israel reported.
She also expressed her admiration of Jewish resilience in the face of annihilation. “The Jews and the Yazidis share a common history of genocide that has shaped the identity of our peoples, but we must transform our pain into action,” she said, adding, “I respect how you rebuilt a global Jewish community in the wake of genocide. This is a journey that lies ahead of my community.”
In August 2014, Murad was captured in her village of Kocho in northern Iraq by Islamic State fighters. Before she was sold and abused as a slave, she saw six of her brothers killed and her mother executed for being too old to serve as a slave. Islamic State propaganda refers to the indigenous Yazidi people as “devil worshippers” and “unbelievers” unworthy of life.
“Before this genocide, I had little information on the Jewish community because we don’t have many Jewish people in Iraq,” Murad told The Jerusalem Post. “I had zero knowledge about the community until I started this campaign and saw Jewish communities support us.”
“Their ability to stay strong and keep their culture … it’s an example. I personally fell in love with doing that. The Jews are an example. We should do the same,” she added.
Murad’s quest to bring justice to her community and have the atrocities committed against the Yazidi people recognized as a genocide has taken her around the global. She was brought to Israel with the support of IsraAID and Yazda, a Yazidi non-profit organization.
During her stay, Murad met with Israeli lawmakers, visited Yad Vashem [Holocaust Remembrance Center], addressed a delegation of young professional women hosted by the American Jewish Committee, and spoke at Beit Hatfutsot in Tel Aviv on Tuesday.
“We think they’ll (Jews) understand our case more than anybody else,” Murad said. “We have been in many countries, meeting with governments for help for the Yazidi communities. I always wanted to come here to Israel; a lot of victims wanted to come and ask for help from the government and people of Israel,” she concluded.
