The World Must Listen to This Former Israeli Hostage

For months, the world has clung to a comforting illusion that Hamas can be “managed,” deterred, contained, reasoned with. That October 7th was an “outburst,” a “desperation move,” something that can be prevented next time with the right arrangements, the right mediators, the right formulas.

Segev Kalfon, kidnapped from the Nova music festival and held for hundreds of days inside Hamas terror tunnels, has come out with testimony that should shatter every fantasy still floating around in diplomatic circles. Senior Hamas officials told him directly: They have no problem promising Netanyahu that there would be no more October 7th massacres, as they would then massacre Jews on October 8th and October 9th instead.

From Hamas’s perspective, concepts like peace, de-escalation, or restraint are not end goals but tactical language— deception used as a tool of strategy. They frame temporary truces as pauses—much like the early Islamic precedent of a hudna.

Kalfon describes long conversations in the underground tunnels with the commander of Hamas’s Nuseirat Battalion, a senior figure connected to Ismail Haniyeh’s inner circle. These were not low-level fighters. These were decision-makers. And according to them, the horror of October 7th was only considered a “mistake” for one reason: Iran, Hezbollah, and the broader Muslim world did not join the war.

They did not regret their actions of slaughtering babies, burning people alive or raping, kidnapping and mutilating them. No.

They regretted it because they were left to fight alone.Think about what that means.

From inside the tunnels, from the mouths of those running this terror army, the regret is not moral—it is logistical. Their complaint was not that they went too far. It was that their partners did not show up.

This aligns perfectly with what we have seen for decades: a worldview where deception is a tool, where “agreements” are tactical, and where the ultimate goal is not coexistence, but elimination.

Kalfon also recounts Hamas leaders openly mocking Qatar and the broader Muslim world. The objective was not negotiations or leverage. It was annihilation. The language of “understandings,” “arrangements,” or a so-called “day after” is not taken seriously by them. It is a stage prop. A tactic. A mask.

This is not a theory or an analysis. This is first hand testimony from a man who sat face-to-face with Hamas leadership while they believed they had all the time in the world.

And yet, even now, there are still voices talking about rebuilding Gaza with Hamas still breathing, about “stabilization,” about international frameworks that assume this is a conflict that can be cooled rather than an ideology that must be defeated.

We are not dealing with a rational adversary seeking a better political arrangement. We are dealing with a jihadi Islamic enemy that openly says its only regret was not killing more Jews with more help.

Anyone still clinging to illusions should listen carefully.

Gaza must be cleared of all jihadi Muslims who educate their children in United Nations UNRWA schools to kill Jews and destroy Israel.

The truth came out of the tunnels.

HOW ISLAMISTS OVERRAN MY COUNTRY LEBANON

Brigitte Gabriel tells the story of how Islamists overran her country Lebanon 🇱🇧 with the aid of Islamic countries in the 1970s.

It's important to note that religion and thus religious extremism is dangerous and needs to be checked especially in Africa so that what happened to the Middle East won't Take place on the continent. This is the reason why the enlightenment and advocacy towards naturalism needs to be intensified in Africa and the world.

UAE and Morocco Commemorate Holocaust

Dubai’s Crossroads Museum of Civilizations to hold special event Saturday night remembering the victims of the Nazis and honoring the Muslims who saved Jews; Moroccan city of Tangier to host official ceremony in presence of dignitaries

For the second consecutive year, two of the Arab countries that signed the Abraham Accords normalization agreement with Israel will hold events around International Holocaust Remembrance Day on Friday to remember the six million Jews who perished at the hands of the Nazis.

The Crossroads Museum of Civilizations in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates will commemorate the Holocaust at a ceremony on Saturday night organized in cooperation with the Israeli and German embassies there.

The UAE became the first Arab country to officially commemorate the Holocaust at a similar ceremony held last year.

The Crossroads Museum of Civilizations in Dubai was also the first museum in an Arab nation to include a special exhibition that commemorates the Holocaust and tells the stories of its survivors.

“It is very important to us that we focus on educating people about the tragedies of the Holocaust because education is the antidote to ignorance,” museum founder Ahmed Obaid Almansoori said in 2021.

The exhibition also has a section dedicated to the Arabs and Muslims who helped save the Jews from the Nazis.

The exhibition includes pictures and paintings identifying personalities such as Selahattin Ülkümen, the Turkish consul-general in Rhodes who saved the Jews of the Greek island from deportation to Nazi death camps, and Dr. Mohamed Helmy, the Egyptian physician who saved many Jews from Nazi persecution in Berlin. Helmy had been studying in Berlin and remained there throughout the Second World War, where he saw what happened to the people around him and decided to save Jewish families.

Also in the exhibition is a historical section in which rare collectibles are on display, such as a facsimile of the Worms Mazhor, a Jewish prayer book from the German city during the Middle Ages.

The museum will allow attendees to tour the Holocaust exhibition, and the event will be streamed directly via YouTube for those who cannot attend in person.

The museum told The Media Line that there will be recorded and live speeches about the Holocaust delivered during the event, as well an introductory tour on the Holocaust exhibit.

The UAE was the first Arab country to officially include the events of the Holocaust in the curriculum for students across the Emirates, where more than 200 nationalities reside.

In Bahrain, the King Hamad Center for Peaceful Coexistence has not announced any events to remember the Holocaust this year, but did host a commemorative event last year.

Sources familiar with the center told The Media Line that its representatives were currently in the Italian capital Rome, to inaugurate the Declaration of the Kingdom of Bahrain – the founding manifesto of the work of the King Hamad Global Center for Peaceful Coexistence.

Morocco is holding a Holocaust commemoration in the city of Tangier, with the participation of some of the country’s dignitaries. A similar event was held last year at the Moshe Nahon Synagogue in Tangier.

While there is no official event this year, Ibrahim Robin, a member of the Bahraini Jewish community, told The Media Line that they hold an annual a Holocaust remembrance ceremony at the Ten Commandments Synagogue in the Bahraini capital of Manama.

“There is great sympathy on the part of the Bahraini people for what the Jews have gone through. Bahrain is a peaceful people and does not accept any kind of injustice or criminality,” he said.

“After the Abraham Accords [were signed], we have seen a greater light on the Jews in the Gulf, but the reality of coexistence with the Jews in the Gulf predates these agreements.”

Egypt and Jordan, the first two Arab countries to sign peace agreements with Israel, have not held any commemorations of the Holocaust in the decades since they signed those treaties.

Sudan, which is the fourth signatory of the Abraham Accords, will also not hold any events to mark the day.

"Apartheid" State, Who is Kidding Who?

Video Of The Week - CNN lies corrected by Bennett- https://tinyurl.com/yc6735tf

For the full Article go to the Spectator - https://tinyurl.com/2p96jkjk

If you’re after evidence of apartheid in Israel, you don’t have to look very far. Amid rioting by Palestinians and Arabs, the Israel Police has declared the Temple Mount in Jerusalem off-limits. For ten days, only practitioners of one religion will be allowed to visit.

For context, Temple Mount is home to the Holy of Holies, the most sacred site in Judaism, and is where the First and Second Temples stood until their destruction by the Babylonians and Romans, respectively. Following Jerusalem’s conquest by Islamic imperialists in the 7th century, a succession of caliphs worked to Islamise the Temple Mount by erecting Muslim worship sites including the Dome of the Rock, built on top of the old Jewish temple, and Al-Aqsa Mosque, the third-holiest site in Islam.

In recent days, Arab and Muslim rioters have run amok on the Temple Mount and throughout the Old City. They have fired off Molotov cocktails and rocks at law enforcement from inside Al-Aqsa. They have beaten religious Jews on their way to pray at the Western Wall. They have stoned at least ten buses, injuring passengers including a 13-year-old girl. Hence why the Israel Police has said adherents of one religion and one religion alone will be permitted on the Temple Mount for the next ten days. That one religion is, naturally, Islam.

For centuries, Jews were forbidden from ascending Temple Mount by the occupying empire of the day

Welcome to Israel, apartheid state. This interdict is not unusual and nor is the tumult that has occasioned it; both have played out semi-regularly in recent years. Religious discrimination against non-Muslims is in fact routine on Temple Mount, which is governed by the Jerusalem Islamic Waqf, a Jordanian religious trust, in cooperation with the Israel Police.

For centuries, Jews were forbidden from ascending Temple Mount by the occupying empire of the day, and even after they liberated their capital city in 1967, almost all senior rabbis have forbidden Jews to set foot on the hill. Nevertheless, some have persisted and Israel permits a limited number of its Jewish citizens to visit their holiest site, provided they do not pray while there. Those Jews who do pray are arrested. Jews may only enter the complex through a separate gate designated for use by non-Muslims.

The virtues of these arrangements are open to question. For one, they concede Islamic and Palestinian supremacist views about the Temple Mount and the freedom of Jews to worship there. Limiting Jewish access to the hill does not stop Palestinian terror groups, preachers and media routinely prompting riots with false claims that the Zionists are ‘storming Al-Aqsa’. Israeli police operations to curtail said rioting are then packaged by the international media and NGOs as a wanton Israeli attack on Muslim holy sites and worshipers, a framing amplified by gullible western progressives.

Ariel Sharon’s decision to visit Temple Mount in 2000 is generally agreed to be the cause of the Second Intifada, in which Palestinian suicide bombers murdered more than a thousand Israelis. (If you’re wondering why the lesson from this incident was ‘Israeli Prime Ministers must not be so provocative as to visit Jewish holy sites in their own capital city’ and not ‘blowing up buses and pizza parlours for four years because someone walked up a hill seems a bit extreme’, you just failed your Foreign Office civil service exam.) Nor do the current arrangements do much for the sacrosanctity of Al-Aqsa, the mosque that is ‘desecrated’ by Israeli police entering to stop rioting but not by the rioting itself.

Rather than acknowledge Israel’s self-denying efforts to keep the peace on Temple Mount, the international community simply breezes past them and onto their condemnations. It is taken as given that Israel ought to cede sovereignty in its capital city and task its police with arresting Jewish citizens for praying on a hill. This goes to the hypocrisy that runs through elite western (and, it must be said, Israeli) discourses on Israel and the Palestinians. Western legal norms and the assumptions of rights-based liberalism are applied – often, though not always, dishonestly – to characterise Israeli laws, military decisions and security measures as arbitrary and discriminatory, motivated by racial and religious malice and a nationalist desire to dominate the Palestinians. Because Israel is not Sweden, it is damned as South Africa.

Yet this commitment to universalising western values only goes one way. It is not applied to Palestinian demands for a Jew-free state in Judea, Samaria and Gaza, nor to Palestinian prohibitions – backed up by the death penalty – against selling property to Jews. Most noticeably, it does not apply when Israel discriminates against its Jewish citizens and restricts their liberty of movement and freedom to manifest their religious faith. Israelis often complain about double standards but there is only one standard and it is always against Israel.

The Temple Mount compromise is messy, unjust, inequitable and probably doesn't bring a fraction of the benefits the Israeli security establishment tells itself, but it is an accommodation made in the interests of public order, stability, and coexistence. It is plainly discriminatory against Jews but Israel figures, rightly or wrongly, that this is the price of keeping an uneasy peace. There's your apartheid state.

Jews Worldwide under Murderous Attack

 Video Of The Week – Media’s Silence - https://tinyurl.com/9f4f54ed

For the full Article by Melanie Phillips go to: https://tinyurl.com/8urf945t

The Jewish people are under murderous  attack both in Israel and the diaspora. The violence is not confined to the Middle East. There has been a huge upsurge in attacks on diaspora Jews in Britain, Europe and America. On the streets of European cities, demonstrators have been screaming for the destruction of Israel and chanting that the “army of Mohammed” has returned to slaughter the Jews.

Britain’s Jewish defence organisation reports at least a five-fold increase in antisemitic incidents over the course of the Gaza war. The most dramatic example was a four-hour motorcade  around Jewish areas of North London screaming abuse: “F*** the Jews, f*** their daughters, f*** their mothers, rape their daughters and free Palestine.”

What’s happening now is that the Palestinian war against Israel has been reframed as a war against the Jews. Most of this is being perpetrated by Muslims. But it is being reinforced by extreme hostility to Israel from western “progressives.” It’s not just the twisted reporting, distortions and blood libels  that have been transmitted by the BBC, Sky UK, the Guardian, The New York Times  and others. Worse still is the intensity of the perverse and unjustified passions with which Israel is demonised. It’s the spitting outrage that not enough Israelis are dying to justify military action.

It’s the virulent satisfaction with which every military action that Israel takes  is seized upon as proof of its moral depravity. For a Jew, it’s impossible not to hear the unmistakable echoes of previous horrors — the medieval blood libel against the Jews and the Holocaust. While the Nazi comparison is repeatedly misused, on this occasion it is all too justified. Indeed, it is not too fanciful to view what we are witnessing as the last, overlooked but still active front of the Second World War.

Left-wing thinkers urged a total repudiation of the nation-state. This led to the dogma that Israel was a colonial and illegitimate enterprise, Zionism was racism. In the Muslim world,  Jew-hatred is rooted in Islamic theology. The most notorious Arab Nazi was the Mufti of Jerusalem, Haj Amin al Husseini. And al Husseini’s most devoted acolyte is the current leader of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas. Today, the Palestinians of both Hamas and Abbas’s Fatah constantly churn out Nazi-style, murderous incitement. The Iranian regime, which funds and arms Hamas, regularly announces its genocidal intentions towards the Jews.

So today’s war against western civilisation and the Jews amounts to infernal unfinished business. But unlike the Second World War, when those in the free world on the side of the fascists were regarded as traitors, such people today march with those pledged to Islamic holy war against the Jews. The heirs to the Nazis are still intent upon the same terrible aims. The difference now is that those fighting for civilisation are being undermined by an enormous fifth column.

The Palestinian Lie about Jerusalem Has Legs

Video Of The Week - How Did Islam Get Involved with the Temple Mount? https://tinyurl.com/epwg88q5

For the full article by Nadav Shragai go to -  https://tinyurl.com/1cmugufb

“A lie,” according to the well-known saying, “has no legs,” but that does not mean lies do not need them.

The “Al-Aqsa is in danger” libel rests on a huge false leg that, in the end, will collapse. The lie would not have survived so long without it. Today, the Palestinians and many Muslims charge that Israel “seeks to destroy al-Aqsa” and build the Temple in its stead on a site where no Temple ever stood; that the Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount is al-miza’um, that is, “supposed,” “fraudulent,” “invented,” or “imaginary;” that the Jews have no connection to the Temple Mount or, for that matter, to the Western Wall.

This is a libel on top of a libel, a double lie. The many Muslims who are convinced that al-Aqsa is in danger are now also convinced that “their” al-Aqsa stands on a place where “our” Temple never stood – the latter being nothing but a fabrication.

Some of the legitimacy that terrorism draws from the libel rests on that added lie. It is more legitimate to libel and murder Jews, so as “to protect the captive al-Aqsa and free it from the Jews who are plotting to destroy it,” if Israel and the Jews who “conspire to attack the site,” have only a false and concocted connection to it. Thus, the lie that undergirds the libel also bolsters the legitimacy to murder in its name.

From the standpoint of the “Al-Aqsa is in danger” terrorists and their supporters, they do not murder only those who seek to wrest the Mount from their hands. As they see it, they are also murdering the falsifiers of history, who have no link to the site at all. They also want the Mount to be “liberated” psychologically so that their historical and religious narrative will prevail. This chapter (the appendix of the book) aims to refute this lie as well and to prove that it is nothing but a broken prop.

To grasp the magnitude of the lie, one must go far back on the path the Muslims themselves trod over the past 1,350 years, the path from which they have strayed only in recent times. Despite the misrepresentations and the sweeping denial that many Muslims now adopt regarding the Jewish connection to the Temple Mount and to the Temple that stood there, they themselves were the ones who, up until the Six-Day War, identified the Mount – unequivocally – as the site of Solomon’s Temple and as the place where David said his Psalms.

Furthermore, Solomon and David, as important prophets in Islam, are seen as the ones who laid the foundations on the Temple Mount for the building of the mosques there. Nevertheless, today, Muslim clerics and leaders remove the Jewish Temple from the Mount and “transfer” it to places like Mount Zion, Nablus, and even Yemen.

Moreover, many of the names and terms the Muslims have used over the years for the Temple Mount, particularly “Beit al-Maqdis,” which is a translation of the Hebrew name Beit haMikdash, derive from the Jewish designation for the site, where the two Muslim shrines were built around 1,350 years ago.

Today, Muslims commonly use the name Beit al-Maqdis for Jerusalem, but in the ancient past, they used the name for the Temple Mount itself. The Jewish people and the State of Israel do not, of course, need the Muslim sources – which, for more than 1,350 years, have identified the Temple Mount as the site of the Temple – to prove their connection to the place.

Given, however, the dispute on this issue and the resolutions hostile to Israel in the international arena, which espouse the new Muslim narrative, it is worth presenting the primary Muslim documentation and sources for the Jewish connection to Jerusalem, the Temple Mount, and the Temple.

Today, many Muslims erase this reliable documentation from memory. From such forgetfulness, the path is short to denial, and this gives rise to a lie. On this lie now rests the libel from which the “Al-Aqsa is in danger” terror derives its inspiration and legitimacy to murder Jews.

The Real Enemy of Islam

Video Of The Week - Jeremy Corbyn Suspended https://tinyurl.com/y3mftt7v

For the full Article from Gatestone by Khaled Abu Toameh 3-11-2020 https://tinyurl.com/y3t3krk2

a)     "The beheading of the French history teacher proves that political Islam has become a real threat to world peace in light of its expansionist tendency, which is currently embodied by Erdogan's project, which not only targets the societies of Muslim countries, but also other societies that incubate important Islamic communities." — Al-Habib Al-Aswad, Tunisian journalist, Al-Arab, October 28, 2020.

b)     He wants to represent himself as a defender of Islam. Which Islam does he speak for? Erdogan has committed crimes in Libya, Syria and all Arab countries. He is the one who is offending Islam." — Mustafa Bakri, Egyptian media personality, Al-Dostor Studio, October 30, 2020.

c)     The reactions of many Arabs and Muslims show that they view Erdogan as a more serious threat to Islam than Macron or others in the West.

Turkish President Erdogan is not authorized to speak on behalf of the Muslims, especially regarding the current controversy surrounding France's attitude toward Islam and Muslim terrorist attacks. That is what many Muslims are saying these days in the aftermath of Erdogan's attempt to present himself as the grand defender of Islam in a conflict that recently erupted between Muslims and France.

According to several Muslim political analysts and writers, Erdogan is trying to take advantage of the anti-France campaign in the Muslim world for his own political gain. The message the Muslims are sending to France and the rest of the world is that Erdogan is a hypocrite and opportunist, who is acting from personal interest and not out of concern for Muslims or Islam.

Last week, France condemned Erdogan for comments he made about French President Emmanuel Macron's mental health and treatment of Muslims. Erdogan had suggested that the French president needed "some kind of mental treatment" because of Macron's attitude toward Muslims in France. "What else is there to say about a head of state who doesn't believe in the freedom of religion and behaves this way against the millions of people of different faiths living in his own country?" Erdogan said in a speech at a meeting of his Justice and Development Party. He also called on Muslims to boycott French goods.

Erdogan's remarks came in response to Macron's pledge to crack down on radical Islamism in France after a Muslim terrorist beheaded history teacher Samuel Paty on October 16. Paty had taught a class on freedom of expression during which he used cartoons of the Islamic Prophet Mohammed from the satirical newspaper Charlie Hebdo. Even before Paty was murdered, Macron defended the right to caricature the Prophet Mohammed. In September, he described Islam as a religion "in crisis" and announced that he would present a bill to strengthen a law that separates church and state in France.

Some Muslims see Erdogan's attacks on France as an attempt to divert attention from the growing criticism in the Arab world toward Turkey's meddling in the internal affairs of a number of Arab countries. Saudi Arabian activists have called for a boycott of Turkish products to protest Erdogan's repeated attacks on Arab leaders and countries.

"Erdogan's statements and his defense of Islam do not bear in their essence any religious dimensions, but rather an attempt to win the friendship of the angry street and also to save his country's economy, which is suffering badly after the success of the Arab boycott of Turkish goods."

Noting that Arab business executives and others have called for a boycott of Turkish products to protest the "hostile policies of the Erdogan regime," the newspaper quoted Egyptian political analyst Tareq Fahmi as saying:

"Erdogan's talk about adopting the defense of Islam has become unacceptable after everyone realized that the matter is purely political and has nothing to do with the religious dimension. The issue is also related to addressing Arab and Islamic public opinion so that Erdogan appears in the image of the great Arab and Islamic leader. Erdogan aims to ride the current wave and try to employ and invest it politically in his battles against Europe and France."

Lebanese journalist Joseph Abu Fadel scoffed at Erdogan's call for the protection of Muslims in France:

Abbas pointed out that Erdogan was also motivated by his concern over the decline of his popularity in Turkey:

"The beheading of the French history teacher proves that political Islam has become a real threat to world peace in light of its expansionist tendency, which is currently embodied by Erdogan's project, which not only targets the societies of Muslim countries, but also other societies that incubate important Islamic communities... When the Turkish president incited against France and President Macron, his primary concern was not religion or the Prophet Mohammed, but rather his geopolitical struggle with the French in the eastern Mediterranean, Libya, and generally North Africa and the Sahara region. Erdogan is convinced that Macron is a declared ally of countries that Ankara considers its enemies."

Egyptian media personality Mustafa Bakri said that Erdogan was taking advantage of various crises and cannot be sincere in his defense of Islam. Erdogan, he added, "is not an honest man."

"He took advantage of the situation against France and claimed to be defending Islam. He wants to represent himself as a defender of Islam. Which Islam does he speak for? Erdogan has committed crimes in Libya, Syria and all Arab countries. He is the one who is offending Islam."

"Some populist politicians think only about achieving their personal victories by using powerful and extremist rhetoric... What Erdogan came out with cannot be considered an endeavor to defend the interests of Muslims and the Prophet Mohammed, and he knows more than others what the consequences could be for the Muslim communities living in Western societies."

The reactions of many Arabs and Muslims show that they view Erdogan as a more serious threat to Islam than Macron or others in the West. The voices of Erdogan's critics, however, rarely find their way to the mainstream media.

Ironically, Erdogan, who is currently calling for a boycott of French products, is himself being boycotted by a growing number of Arabs and Muslims. It is Erdogan, bemoaning the "insults" to Islam made by Westerners, who is himself being accused by Muslims of killing Muslims and occupying their lands.

The Christian haven of Israel

Video of the week - Christians in Israel versus Middle East -  https://tinyurl.com/y85woyej

The times of Israel, by Elias Zarina 29-12-2017
For the full article go to - https://tinyurl.com/y974qamp
The period between Christmas and New Year’s is a time of reflection, and as thousands of Christians make their way to the Holy Land, they should be fully aware of our true situation. As a Middle Eastern Christian, I would like to inform you that, while Muslim leaders have tried to convince the West that Christians are doing well, quite the opposite is true. Furthermore, having been born and raised in the Christian Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem, I am certain that Israel is the only country in the region where Christians are thriving.
This might come as a surprise, due to a recent letter by Church leaders condemning US President Donald Trump’s declaration on Jerusalem. Again, the truth is much more complicated. Christians in the Middle East, including in eastern Jerusalem and the West Bank, are under enormous pressure from Muslim leaders. In recent years, the Christian community across the region has suffered from the rise of Jihadi extremists.
Take, for instance, the hundreds of thousands of displaced Christians from Syria and Iraq. Or the slaughter of Copts in Egypt. The same is also true in the West Bank. Just recently, a Palestinian terrorist embarked on a vehicular ramming attack in the Christian town of Beit Jala, wounding 18 people and demolishing 41 vehicles. I heard first-hand that the assailant’s declared goal was “to cleanse the infidels.” The Palestinian Authority (PA), who has the man in custody, released a false statement disregarding these charges and downplayed the incident, saying he was “disturbed.” This is just one more example of how the PA is disguising the danger that its Christian residents face from the rise of Islamic ideology in its midst.
It is then unsurprising that across the Holy Land, the birthplace of Jesus Christ, so many of his followers are escaping to the West. They are on the run from life-threatening danger imposed by radical Islamists. And close to home, many Christians are leaving the PA, despite what its leaders are saying. They exploit the local Christian minority for their own political goals. They speak as if Christians are treated with equality and respect, but this is only a mirage. The Christian exodus from Palestinian cities, including Bethlehem, is evidence of their maltreatment and their feelings of insecurity.
However, I am happy to report that there is one place in the Middle East where Christians are truly thriving — Israel. The Christian community in Israel continues to grow in numbers. Christians in Israel enjoy economic prosperity, independent educational systems that produce some of the country’s most successful schools, a great health system, and full civil rights. It is for this reason that a growing number of Christians choose to enlist in the Israel Defense Force, study, and live here.
We, the Israeli-Christian minority in Israel, are proud of the way our country treats and respects our faith and culture. I know this to be true, because together with my colleagues, both Christian and Jewish, we have the privilege of assisting dozens of my community members to integrate into the general Israeli society. By providing scholarships and mentoring, we alleviate this process for many young Christians. However, none of this work is possible without the desire of these young men and women to do so. So, I say to all the pilgrims, I hope you will see on your visit that, while Christians across the region are looking outward for a better future, here in Israel they are looking inward.

OPEN ANTISEMITISM IN BRITAIN.

Video of the week – Fighting For Israel - https://tinyurl.com/y97a8a3o
By Melanie Phillips 15-12-2017
A demonstration was held in London last week in protest at President Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem as Israel’s capital. It featured the usual suspects: the Palestine Solidarity Campaign, Stop the War Coalition, Friends of Al Aqsa, War on Want, Socialist Worker.
Nothing surprising about any of that. The far left — along with significant NGOs — is motivated by a vicious loathing of Israel and support for those committed to its extermination. It’s hardly news, therefore, that they would react so virulently against the idea that the Jewish people are fully entitled, legally, historically and morally, to declare that Jerusalem, which was only ever the capital city of the Jewish people’s own national kingdom, remains its capital city today.
Oh –– and Jewish Voice for Labour, which claims not to be anti-Zionist but merely to “uphold the right of supporters of justice for Palestinians to engage in solidarity activities”, was also at the demo.
Well, this is the “right” that JVL upheld last at last week’s “solidarity” activity. Watch here as the demonstrators chanted “Khaybar Khaybar, ya yahud, jaish Mohammed, as yahud”.
This translates as “Khaybar, Khaybar, oh Jews, the army of Mohammed will return” — a reference to the Muslims’ slaughter of the Jews of Khaybar in 628 CE.
For Islamist extremists and terrorists, this is a touchstone historical event which they seek to re-enact today. Chanting this is to declare their intention to do so. It is effectively incitement to murder Jews. And it was chanted on the streets of London, at a demonstration supported by Jewish Voice for Labour and under the noses of the “hate-crime” obsessed British police.
Of course, the police don’t speak Arabic. But shouldn’t someone, somewhere in the British security apparatus have worked out by now that it might be useful to deploy a few Arabic speakers at such events because they invariably feature a spot of incitement to genocide?
The indefatigable David Collier reports on his blog (which reproduced the picture above of one of those Khaybar chanters): “Within the crowd, comments about ‘bloodsuckers’ could be heard, along with other hard-core antisemitic statements. These groups, all of them, need to be held to account for aligning with blatant anti-Jewish activity in London”.
Of course nothing of the kind will occur. Three days after that demonstration, The Times reported that Tahra Ahmed, who runs a volunteer network to help victims of the appalling Grenfell tower block fire in Kensington, west London last June in which more than 70 people died, has been making deranged claims about a Jewish conspiracy behind the fire against the background of a history of antisemitic remarks.
“Attending a town hall protest two days after the fire, she told reporters there that the fire was a ‘holocaust’. She has previously described Hitler’s massacre of Jews as the ‘holohoax’….she is known to antisemitism watchdogs who have been alarmed by her public claims about the Nazi genocide and ‘Jewish power’.
“…On Facebook Ms Ahmed has gone further in her virulent attacks on Jews. ‘Hitler and the Germans were the victims of the Jewish conspiracy to destroy Germany,’ she wrote.
“Of Grenfell she has said: ‘Watch the live footage of people trapped in the inferno with flames behind them. They were burnt alive in a Jewish sacrifice… Grenfell is owned by a private Jewish property developer just like the twin towers. I wonder how much Goldman [Goldman Sachs, a bank often targeted by antisemites] is standing to make in the world’s most expensive real estate location [Kensington]’.
“In fact, Grenfell Tower is owned by the local council. Goldman Sachs has had no involvement in the disaster apart from donating 100 boxes of children’s clothing and books, helping residents access technology and matching employees’ appeal donations.”
Earlier this year the Campaign against Antisemitism reported that Beinazir Lasharie was appointed deputy mayor of Kensington and Chelsea “to help the Council rebuild trust with residents following the tragedy at Grenfell Tower”.
This was despite Guido Fawkes in the Sun having reported her as posting a video on Facebook entitled: “ISIS: Israeli Secret Intelligence Service” and commenting on it: “Many people know about who was behind 9/11 and also who is behind ISIS. I’ve nothing against Jews… just sharing it.” Guido added: “Cllr Lasharie refused to apologise for her comments and said: “I don’t know what to believe any more. I’ve seen compelling evidence that links Zionists to ISIS.”
Lasharie defended herself against the charge of antisemitism on the grounds that her husband and children were part-Jewish and she didn’t think all Jews were Zionists. So that’s all right, then.
Look up the Khaybar chanting or Tahra Ahmed’s comments on the Guardianwebsite and you’ll draw a blank. Look up Bainazir Lasharie and up comes an articlepublished on Wednesday by Amelia Gentleman. It’s an entirely sympathetic piece — indeed, as a traumatised surviver of the Grenfell fire, Lasharie deserves sympathy. But as events in the Middle East remind us over and over again, victims even of the most barbaric atrocities may nevertheless themselves harbour barbaric views.
Gentleman writes of Lasharie: “The majority of the council is white, middle-class and over 50, and she has found it hard since her election as a councillor in 2014 to make her voice heard.” Yet she makes no mention of the Jewish conspiracy theory to which that voice reportedly gave expression.
Surprised? But to the left, politically approved victims are always morally pure and any claim of Muslim anti-Semitism is Islamophobic. Didn’t you know?
